Well, I have been exercising regularly (aerobics, lifting weights, biking) 3 - 4 times a week for 42 years. Had my first glass of wine and gin when I turned 50. So much for studies

And here I was thinking I could find a reason to up my intake....

Studies, schumdies....I only like 'em when I agree with them?

Yes, always pay attention to studies.

Mice which have the equivilent of 37 bottles of wine / day live longer.

oh c'mon you may mean the polyphenols but not the alcohol.... YIKES!
