needless to say, the crush was over...

My first crush was tall, had pale skin, dangerously dark brown eyes, full red mouth, the same name as my daddy, a voice like chocolate dipped strawberries and a brain that had him in AP classes.

He was the star of my very first readable short story. I put all the angst and frustration that every 13 year old girl feels into it.

Umm...did I mention that same short story made my step mama blush when she found it??

ahhhhh.... I had to think on that... it was a neighbor boy... he was (and still is) a year younger than me... even when I was 9, I was a cougar... and by the way, I saw him a few years ago... He grew up to be a HUNK-a-HUNK-a burnin'....

whew... had my mom not moved (and took us with her) and had I stayed in Hawaii... gotta wonder what coulda/shoulda/woulda happened...

Lets see ... My First Crush.

I believe that it was when I was in 1st grade.
We all sat boy - girl so there was always 2 girls an 2 boys to each table.
He jus happened to sit infront of me. I remember always
playin with him at recess, and sittin at lunch together.

An one day close to the end of the yr I'd watched a movie
with the family, an for the life of me I still have no idea
what movie it was, but I seen the lead female 'knee' the lead
male in the groin at some point during the movie, an
at the end, they ended up hugin an kissin.

So My lil mind put 2 an 2 together and though I thought
it'd make 4 I ended up with 3.
I went to school the next day in my best lil dress with my
hair done jus so an at recess..... I 'knee-ed' him an told him that
it ment that I liked him an we were boy friend an girl friend. So he
took my hand an everyday for a week I'd knee him an we'd hold
hands. THEN the teacher seen us an I got in trouble an he got
embarrassed and we stopped the whole deal.

I didnt know that could hurt! I thought it was like holdin hands
an kissin an huggin! I look back on those days now an I'm thinkin
OMG What did I do. I jus hope that the poor boy didnt have to much damage done.

But yea thats how my first crush went.

Doug Johnson. Keyboard player of the band Loverboy. In high school I was in the concert band and we travelled to Vancouver to perform at Expo 86 . I went with a friend to their fan club office and ...HE was there!!! I was very calm while he posed with me for a pic and I can still feel the hug good bye he gave me. Once in the elevator my knees gave out and I seriously went THUD!! My friend still teases about how star struck I was!! Thanks Harry

My first crush was in Kindergarten (yes, I said Kindergarten!). His name was Craig, blonde hair, blue eyes. He had an air about him that reaked of play doh...a real catch in the eyes of a 5 year old.

One day I had the great luck of sitting next to him during color time. If he used blue, I used blue. If he used red, I used red....etc., etc., etc. Then he did the ultimate in rejection...he told on me for copying his colors!!! *the horror*!!!!

I never forgave him all through school. And 35 years later....I never forgot! LOL
