According to TMZ, a male cougar is officially called a dingo.

And if it came from TMZ, it *must* be true, right?

Uhm...that is just not right.

Women get "cougar". That is a magnificent, beautiful and graceful animal.

Men get "dingo"..a wild, mangy dog from Australia.

DISCRIMINATION, I tell you!!!

Actually, the dingo, in it's own way, is every bit as intelligent, family oriented, and predatory as his american cousin, the wolf.. He may well be tougher and more resilient than the wolf, taking into account the harsh environment he must survive in.. Granted, the dingo never huffed and puffed and blew the pigs house down, but if he had been tracking Little Red Riding Hood, she would have never made it to Grandma's house..

And finally, if you to catch a young mountain lion, you run it to ground with dogs.. mangy or other wise..

Defining dingoism.

Okay...if a cougar has to date men 5-6 years younger to qualify (Sorry, you are not a cougar if you are dating a man 2 yrs your junior)....how much younger must the woman be for the male to qualify for dingoism? 5-6 years younger is relatively common, so I would think the spread would have to jump out to 8+ yrs. Can I see a raise of hands?
