and all wishes came true, in what kind of place would you like to spend time recuperating?

Saw this tonight, and am wondering when it gets warm Down Under...

How about you? Where would you go for respite, if money were no object?

I have always wanted to see Montana.

I also like the idea of horses ... even though in RL, all they want to do is play with me, lick my head and generally disrespect me.

If money were no object, I would want to travel extensively, to Germany to visit friends ... to Italy to see artwork ...

New adventures seem to refresh me.

NZ and Tassie (where I live in Australia) are supposed to be very similar in climate. If true, I'd expect it to be warm between October to March, with the hottest months being Dec-Feb.

I would like to one day visit Switzerland and Iceland.

I lived in Switzerland for 10 years and it's absolutely fab and bang in the middle of Europe. 4 hours drive to Milan, 4 hours drive to Paris, 4 hours drive to Germany, 4 hours drive to Provence and so forth. I would take the train to either Paris/France or Milan/Italy early morning and be there mid-morning, have lunch there, do some shopping, looking at galleries, art, sightseeing, take the last train back and be in my bed at midnight. What's not to like about that.

I have visited most of Europe, lots of Asia and USA. I'm not into "lying by the pool for 2 weeks" vacations, so if I was to choose a place to recuperate it would be on horseback in Texas/Montana/Colorado. Haven't been to Montana or Colorado - yet.

Wow! You guys have some great ideas! I love the pictures, too!

I like both things to do and time to sit and take it all in. But right now my fantasy trip is soaking in all the UV I can, reading all the books in the world, and floating until I'm well out into the Gulf Stream.

(tumbleweed, there are some beautiful places in New Jersey...how come??)
