Oh My!! The Brownies have landed!! I just finished lunch and was thinking I wanted something a little sweet before heading back to work. Just as that thought went through my head, the mailman opened up the door and threw something on the front porch.

A package! A package addressed to Mermaid!! With brownies from Coffeegeek! Yummy, fabulous brownies! And a killer German Chocolate topping!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

And there were even cute drawings on the foil wrapper! How can you not adore this guy?!! And why isn't he a world famous chef?

excuse me, my fingers are getting all sticky from the brownies....

You weren't supposed to talk about the package decorations.

Oh, and you might want to put them in the freezer first, let them harden a bit, then unpeel them from the foil, then warm to room temp. It sounds like that advice is too late for you though, lol.

OMG. Creamy, moist, chocolaty, coconutty, walnutty (or is it pecany? who cares!!!!) deliciousness of ecstasy..........Never again will a brownie mix make me smile. I haven't made the blueberry syrup yet - I was out of vanilla beans, but never fear, it will be there shortly!!!!! I have to dash to town tomorrow to make a deposit, will get more vanilla beans and get to making the syrup posthaste!

And my package had cute drawings too......
