Anyone familiar with this musical? It is awesome!! It is a very adult version of Sesame Street. It has won a few Tony awards and is just wrapping its Broadway run. They have a traveling revue coming to Boston in November and I am going to try and grab some tickets!!

YouTube has tons of Avenue Q stuff. It is adult in nature, but screamingly funny. The young engaged couple that I love introduced me to this thing!

Anyone have "hidden gems" that you have discovered over the years?

Heh!

Noooo....."Sesame Street" was always near and dear to my heart. I was 3 when it first aired on PBS. I was immediately attracted to int because in the early days there was a "Hairy (pronounced Harry) Monster" and of course Grover Monster. For a kid who is just learning identity, I thought it was SO cool that Sesame Street had MY name in it! Harry (Hairy) and Grover!!!!!!

I have many, many pieces of Grover memorabilia. It has become harder to find Grover things though. Since the explosion of Elmo onto the scene, Grover has been slowly edged out and as such, so has Grover merchandise.

Wicked is one of my favorite musicals. It's the back story of The Wizard of Oz.

My brother is a theatre major, and a free-lance set designer, so he's always dragging me to see this or that. I don't mind, of course!

Picasso at the Lapin Agile. It's a play by Steve Martin (yes, THAT Steve Martin). It's about Picasso (duh) and Albert Einstein basically debating art versus science. GREAT stuff. If you ever see a production playing somewhere go see it!
