Besides, why would a policeman visit ME? I certainly didn't have anything to do with kidnapping Teeps.....

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahaha!

Does this mean that if the goat is busy being startled or excited, they don't go jumping on cars, the way the non-fainting goats would?

I dunno about jumping on cars, but after having them since April, they said that they aren't climbers like most goats. Daisy and Tumor Belly had all kinds of climbie toys and their fence had to be as high as horse fence. These guys were behind a 3 foot fence, no kidding! But I'll still have to use 5 foot fence. I don't want the horses getting IN the goat pen!!

Goats make GREAT pets, no lie! They are friendly and sweet if you raise them right. You can walk them on a leash like a dog. I always raised my goats on bottles when they were babies to make sure they were sweet. AND, she emailed me this morning and said she thinks the doe is bred again (this is okay, her baby was a year old now). So.....if that's the case in about 5 months I'll have a NEW little baby to raise! I leave them with the mama for the first 3 or 4 days to get the good stuff from mama's milk, then I bottle feed them the rest of the way (about 2 months, goaties grow up fast). If mama is tame enough I milk her and feed her milk back to the baby. If not, they make really good goat milk replacer and I use that. It is TOO cute to bottle feed a baby goat. They all climb up in your lap and stuff, lol. If she has a boy baby, ooops, he'll need to find a new home when he's weaned, but if she has a girl baby, that will be goat #3 for me. I'd like to have a total of 4. I have SO much craziness growing on this land that needs to be cleared, a 4-goat herd could have it the way I want it in less than a year. Now I just have to get busy with finding fence posts to run the fence for their new pen!

Unfortunately, boy goats are kinda smelly. You can't snuggle them once they're grown like you can the girls, and they can be aggressive. But this one is very sweet, and he wasn't TOO rank. I could stand right next to him and pet him without wanting to go shower after, lolol.

PINZ!!!! So good to see you! No need for PMs, all the good stuff is common knowledge these days, lol. RogerLee and StatGamer are now officially fufes. Our lovely Mutitask and Keeper Propanekid are all lovey dovey. You already knew about LiT and CCM by now, I'm sure. Tyym found himself a lovely huzzy and has abandoned us for FaceBook, lol. The Chicago M & G was a FABULOUS success, a wonderful time was had by all, and if you check out AngelPoet's Facebook page there are pics, and there are also several Chicago pics threads back on about page 4 or 5 here. We have missed you!
