...a very large black widow spider down my kitchen sink...this is after killing some very large, stick looking bug in the breakfast room earlier this morning.

What's with the insect invasion already?

Gross.

I mowed a large anthill today. They weren't very happy with me.

Do you worry that they will seek revenge?

I do.

The ants....not really. I think they'd blame the mower and try and take it down because they couldn't see me safely hidden on top.

Now if it was a spider and I failed to kill it or did squish it, but didn't make sure it was very, very, very dead then I would worry.

ACK! I'm going to stuff something in the drain right now in case that red hour-glassed demon is climbing her way toward bloody revenge!

The stick thing is dead. It was a ugly sumthin sumthin too. And I think it was either carrying a little one or procreating with another of its kind. It kind of fell into two parts after I sprayed it dead.

I'll also be shaking the comforter very thoroughly before climbing into bed tonight. Times like this I kind of wish I had a teddy bear.

...a very large black widow spider down my kitchen sink...

Are you SURE you got rid of it?

Don't those things come *back*, or try to?

Dont you remember the nursery rhyme?

The itsy-bitsy spider
Climbed up the water spout
Down came the rain
And washed the spider out
Out came the sun
And dried up all the rain
And the itsy-bitsy spider
Climbed up the spout again
