I find it hilarious when people have dialed a wrong number and then insist that you, the person they have mistakenly called, are the one who is confused.

I just had "Grannie" call me and ask about my dad's leg. I am "Aunt Lily," apparently. "Grannie" has a Russian accent.

I have a grannie. She isn't Russian. She's Scottish. Very Scottish. And I am not Aunt Lily, nor do I have an Aunt Lily. There is nothing wrong with my dad's leg that I am aware of. He did have cataract surgery last week, but I'm pretty sure his legs weren't part of it.

"Grannie" would have none of it. So there you have it, I am Aunt Lily, my dad's leg is busted, and my Grannie is from Russia. Who knew?
