I need interview tips!! I'm scared and worried and nervous and excited and bubbly and I want that job sooo bad!!!

Oh; and I changed my number today. I gave it to lee's family with strict instructions that they are NOT to give him the number. They are to let me know when he wants visitation. So....haha.....I have shaken him off.

Practice, practice, practice. Tonight. In the mirror or with a friend. All the standard questions...why are you right for the job....why should they hire you instead of someone else. You know the drill (and if not, there are plenty of sites online with sample questions). Avoid any mention of personal stuff...even if you're asked or she brings up kids, don't go there. Stick to the job and bubble a bit about how excited you are about the opportunity.

You can do it!

(and good job on the phone number change)

What she said, and don't dally... DO IT.. It is so much easier when you have already answered the questions half a dozen times..

Then, just walk in there and kick some a$$..

They may also ask you about a fault or something negative about yourself. It's good to have one ready and make a positive spin on it.

Good idea on the change of number. I wish I could do that with my X.

Yes - you can say, "I'm ENTIRELY too cute for my own good!" LOL (No, don't say that! I was kidding! LOL)

But The Monkey is right, no matter how sweet or understanding or whatever the interviewer might seem, obviously admit you have a child, emphasize that you have a support system to help, never ever mention drama!
