...so I left my job at 10:30 this morning, with hugs for all my boys (and one girl), and escaped before the evil henchman invited me to have lunch and a beer with him.

I grocery shopped. I baked some meatloaf to put in the freezer. I called my nephew and arranged yet another negotiation with the tentative buyer for my house. I volunteered to do some marketing calls for his startup company. I started my unemployment claim online.

Now I'm bored. I have things to do, but they aren't the fun, silly, outrageous things I know ya'll can think of to keep a curious Monkey occupied.

So...what shall I do to entertain you?

A toast to LBMM...who has left the corporate idjits at her old job, in search of new corporate worlds to conquer...

May her time spent unemployed be long enough to get a great tan, but short enough that she's not lost in those threads "out there" on eHA No-Man's Land...

And may there always lots of scotch and Skyping (sometimes at the same time).
