Best I've ever seen are the poor twin boys here in Vegas with the monickers of Lemonjello and Orangejello (pronounced limahnjahlo and orahnjahlo). Every time I'd come across their names in my job, I'd snicker away.

What?? No body but nobody could be that cruel to their own children!
Especially since Lime is a MUCH better flavor for jello......

I rarely come across anybody named anything the same as in my family. Consider: Grammas: Fanny and Lillian, Lilly for short (not way out there, but not common, but HER mama's name was Ludie Mae....). Grampas, well, okay, one was Joe, one was John, lol. Mother is Burnelle (that's her middle name, and she uses it because she hates her first name, which is Jewel. Go figure). Dad, um, he was Joe, Jr. Me, Rhonda. Chillens are Lillian Jewell, (goes by Lila, named after gramma and mom - I added the extra L to Jewell on purpose), son Grandon Thomas, but he goes by Grandon so nobody knows about the Thomas part. Son Lloyd (his first name is his father's first name, which we won't utter lest this get quoted three times and he appears like that striped ghost in the Michael Keeton movie....).

Or Candyman from that scary movie. There's also an old myth that if you say the devil's name three times he appears. No one says which name : )

I am not going into family names, other than the one cousin I mentioned, but my family could give yoursa run for the money...

Isn't that kind of like the Bloody Mary myth? Stand in front of a mirror, keep repeating her name and she's supposed to appear? Who is Bloody Mary, anyway? As far as I know, she was the first of Henry VIII's daughters to ascend the throne - Mary I, daughter of Katherine of Aragon. Is she the one who appears, I wonder?

Not that Mary...the myth has several possible people named, but no historical figures.

But anyone related to Henry VIII qualifies as scary in my book : )

She was. They called her that 'cause when she was queen (not for long) she ran around whacking off people's heads just like her daddy did 'cause she wanted 'em all to go back to being Catholic. They never did, tho, those naughty Brits.

However, my favorite Bloody Mary involves woudka and V8 juice and Tobasco and celery ceed and Worchester sauce and lime juice and sea salt and a celery stick. Do you think if I say it three times one of those will magically appear???

Well, YOUR name is FABULOUS, so how bad could the rest of 'em be?? (P.S. I have been lazy mailing plants, but the buckets are currently in the middle of my living room ready to bag up. I figure if I have to keep stepping over them I'll get motivated to deal with them, lolol)
