I'm flying up again tomorrow for some interviews on Wednesday. Once more, one of the places got my tickets, but I'm beyond wary about doing any sort of happy dance here. Wish me luck once more?? I'm being needy

Fingers crossed VC! I know how it is to get your hopes up only to get them dashed....here's hoping things go better this time! I think you have the right perspective on it though...I found when I went into the job interview & I was relaxed & didn't care one way or the other if I got the job, things usually worked out better...if I was tense & hoping upon hope that I DID get it, it usually didn't work out so good. So be prepared, but be relaxed & I think you'll do great!!!

Kibbie,

The thing that is most alluring about the place that got my tickets is that I'd just have a 3 day work week. That means I could study for my CCS-P and Tumor Registrar certifications. I've been plotting a lot since last week. Going in with the attitude that if I get it, great, if not, I'm moving up next month anyhow. Just would be nice to have something to earn money and get me out of the place a few hours a week

Thanks for your good wishes!

Yeah, a three day work week is great! I work a 4 day work week, albeit one with whacked out hours & if it wasn't for that (working graveyard shift) it would be an ideal workweek. Good luck to you!

Kibbie,

I figure that we'll just see what happens It's going to take some massive adjustments on my part to not HAVE to work, but I enjoy working. Had a serious talk with the fiance` after last week over finances and all that, and the reality I may not find something by the time he wants me there/gets home. Also, after some deep soul searching, figured that I need to pick up my certifications instead of wishy washing about on them. That opens all kinds of employment opportunities, and being able to study seriously for a few weeks would be great. So, all in all, the pressure is gone, just going in with the attitude that it would be nice, but not required
