I met him 5 months ago on eHA.

You’re gonna get tickled until you confess.
Where have you been D_L? If you were observant you'd have already figured that out!

You know, I have been meaning to post about this. Let me tell you, I was starting to feel pretty undateable. I was like, everyone's flirting with everyone here except with me! Here I am, totally being myself and having fun and apparently I am no one's type. Even though I wasn't here looking for someone you'd have thought ONE guy would have hit on me at least once (as in, real guy, not sca m mer). I was getting fairly down about it and just not feeling good at all. [...]

Remember way back November-ish or so, Stat? When you phoned me up? I was rather taken with you, but at that time you were kinda involved with some fellow down there in Texas, and I find it ... problematic to try to pry a woman away from her current man: ethically not good, and difficult with no great prospect for success. I thus didn't go any further in seeing whether there might possibly be something there.

Well, okay, there was also the issue that you are pinned to your current location, in Texas, and I would not feel right living in a place that didn't have hot summers and cold winters...
