Alright, everyone is finding a great match around here, I'm notand this what EH delivers to me (a little snippet from the profile from he11).
The first thing you'll probably notice about Mr. Ray of Sunshine when you meet him:
Women mainly notice appearance due to "the Coca Cola" effect (brilliant subconscious manipulation), that's how my silly ex wife and me acted, and we both learned the hard way, there are a lot more important dimensions. I divorced about a year ago, no kids, I don't mind someone with a kid, though would prefer without. If you have kids, let me know in the first email. Also, if divorced let me know why. If not married for so long let me know why too Yes, I am this strict. ....... Well, just being reasonable.
This answer is representative of the entire profile of my one and onlymatch who wants to communicate with me(although I have two potential poofers from whom I'm waiting and waiting for a reply).
I think he is the 6th person to initiate communication with me in 5 months on EH. Boy, do I feel like that is money well spent.
His GC questions (about my temper, how your break ups were and if you can deal with/disapprove of a mate having opposite sex friends) also suggest baggage.
By the way,he admits he is smoking right now while he is enjoying the single life (my one real deal breaker in the flexible matching), but will quit for sure. That to me makes him a liar.
If I close, I'm surehe will think it is probably because I am admitting I am not whathe is looking for"like women who are not materialistic and especially snobby. No gold-diggers.
Can you believe this???

If you feel the need, Mel, take it to OC...then blast him! I sometimes wish I did that with a few of my matches that I closed right off the bat.

Mel, if it's any consolation, eH was completely worthless for me too. My subscription expired today. (Yippee!!!)

After the first month, I was getting one, maybe two matches a week, most of whom were non-paying members. I don't recall exactly how many initiated communication, but I'm pretty sure it was in the single digits, and about half of those were on free communication weekends.

I'm waiting for Cupid's arrow to hit...

And yeah, Mr. Ray of Sunshine certainly comes with some hefty baggage.

I am toying with the idea. His profile is so jerky!!

A funny thing is that one of his 5 GC questions is how many books you have read in the last year.

I answered the book question on my profile and he didn't even bother. His profile has almost no information about him, it's just baggage from start to finish.

Reminds me a little of some of those pesky posters I sometimes see starting threads on the main board.

I know I'm in good company.

I actually get a lot of matches, just not many that communicate--I've had over 500 matches. I know it's my own fault for not initiating, but maybe if I get suckered into another subscription in future. :P

Umm . . . don't YOU also consider that you're not what he's looking for too?

I consider that HE is not what I'm looking for (ie. I am not looking for a crazy person).

I consider myself to be neither materialistic nor snobby, and I am not a gold digger, so I am what he is supposedly lookingfor.
