My Christmas list is short
this year
I want only one thing
this is clear

I want a hero whose
heart is true
Can he be kindly and
loyal, too?

Of such love may I
be worthy
Alas I sigh, I best
not hurry

Marry in haste
Repent in leisure
So I am told by those
who reason

You can always go
forward
But can never go
back
Think twice before you
cross that track

Eternity is said to be
A long line in
Both directions
Our lives are but
A tiny dot
In the middle
I reckon.

No way, no how,
this fate can be!

'tis hard, to wow,
with posts for thee!

Do not wow,
nor take a pause

Once upon a colored time,
She searched online for her own kind
She found a circled spot of keen
With lime of lines and golden green

And swirls of thoughtfulness that read
Of black and white and gray instead
So she came out to indigo
Around the white she gave a show
Along the lines of color drawn
But now the time is orange dawn

So now she gathers all her tool
To leave her favorite, playful school
And wonder in the windy world
Lovely lavender unfurled
Tightly held but warmly lost
Her mind no longer sparkled frost

Of red, like Wine
a Lady ... mine?
I found, online.

Of green (money!)
a date would be,
if she did go out with me.

And then blue,
as did ensue,
"never with the likes of you!"

D_Lion, do we know this person well?
Of whom you speak, c'mon and tell!

Silly me, I know you'll never reveal
Any secrets nor your face unconcealed

You demand so much of our attention
What do you trade for this adoration?
