BIGGEST pet peeve!
I agree with that one!!!

Also, a person is tailgating, flashing lights going wacky, you are going over the speed limit, you have no where to move if you wanted to except for a ditch, as soon as you see a break, you put your signal on to move in the next lane, they screech around you instead before you have a chance to move, pass, get in front of you and do one of two things

Slow down
Get off at the next street or exit

It also bugs me when people don't pay attention to motorcycles; much more typical in Georgia than in Maryland---glad to be back.

I hate it when people don't pull over for an emergency vehicle. There is nothing in your little drive this morning which is life or death. There is very likely something life or death going on wherever the emergency vehicle is headed. PULL OVER and STOP already.

... you go to the grocery store for one item and leave forty minutes later with a whole trolley full of items, arrive home and realise you did not buy the original one item!

... you go to the petrol bowser and only want $15 of fuel; but you like to hit the dollar dead even - so $35 later, you pay!

I hate being put on hold before I can even agree to it
"Would you please hold?" click.
What if my call is an emergency, what if I need to talk before you hand me off to oblivion for 20 mins,, what if I do not have time to hold or want to hold??? Gahhh!!

Or this one,,, "Do not hang up as we answer all calls in order,, your expected wait time is,, 5 mins" and there you sit 25 mins later..waiting,,, waiting,,, because you NEED to speak with someone now.

Insurance companies, argggh,, I have deal with them at work everyday.

NH just passed a law about that. The local and state Police were out in force for over a month ticketing people right and left who were too pompous to pull over. The message was delivered. Now, I rarely see anyone on our roads not pull over for any vehicle with flashing lights. Thank you NH for the Amber, Blue, Red law!

Don't you hate it when...

the cashiers are too slow!!!!

One of the things that I love about Target, is that their transactions are timed (I know this b/c I used to work there). Being slow affects your job performance, and opportunities for raises. They even have a 2+1 rule: If you're currently checking someone out, it's okay to have one person waiting in line. If someone else shows up, you call for back-up (by pushing a little button on your register). Simple!

As we all know, this is not the case at other stores, especially Wal-mart. Last night, I had to return something, and decided to skip the line at Customer Service, because it was too long. I waited until I was through shopping to attempt it again. I have stood in a long line at Wal-mart many times, and always get irritated that it takes the Customer Service employee(s) so dang long to complete a transaction. They need to spend some time observing the Guest Service employees at Target. When I worked at Guest Service, I could complete a transaction in under a minute, answer the phone, do a merchandise look-up, and speak to the back room (to find said merchandise)... all at the same time. And I was always very polite to the guest standing in front of me.

Why is it so hard to be efficient?
