I'm driving to do Saturday chores and I pass a car that has a big dent in it and the radiator is overflowing. About 10 yards in back of the car, I see a man (the driver, I assumed) yelling at, and kicking a tire repeatedly. Meanwhile a State Police Officer was calmly writing a ticket while a woman (the driver's wife?) was smiling and making small talk with the tow truck operator, who had his hands separated..as if showing her the size of the fish that he just caught..

Normal, everyday scene...or just something that happens once every generation?

I had my entire tire fly off the wheel of my car one time. Does that count?

No...New Hampshire. Land of the manly men, nervous cows and frustrated women.

I just love encountering scenes like that! Week or so ago in the dairy aisle of the grocery store, there is the husband and wife standing at the dessert section. He is very close to the shelf, gazing down longingly at the pudding that is in cups and sold in packs of 6, hands in his pockets and she is sort of rummaging around in the products. As I walk past, he says (in voice reminding me of 8 year old boy) "But I LIKE pudding". She, holding the produt in her hand and looking at him as if he can't see this disgusting thing in her hand says "No you don't"! I looked back and he was still gazing down at the pudding he wasn't going to get.......lol !

I like to think that the tow truck driver wasn't explaining the size of the fish he caught.... makes the whole scene more interesting.
