For some reason typing the year 2010 felt so futuristic. I had a thought today. Why is it that we feel more resolved to make resolutions at the beginning of a new year? Actually it is just another day in our lives, only a calendar has flipped over. Could it be a reason for the seasons; that when winter has descended upon us with cold weather and days that are more overcast, that it makes us feel a need for renewal?

Have any of you started making goals for the new year? I have had some thoughts of job searching for something different....I know...in this economy, I must be crazy.

Have you ever thought about the intention you have when making your New Year's resolutions? Maybe they are called resolutions because we need to be resolved in making them; we need to have purposeful intention otherwise it will just be a good intention that goes nowhere.

I agree...people should make daily resolutions and not wait for some special time to do it.
