Whether it be the loss of a job, the loss of a long term relationship or any sort of loss, how do you deal with the endings? Do you look in frustration over what was lost or do you look in anticipation for something new to start over and redefine yourself?

At 50 yrs. young I started over at 48 I've had 3 jobs. Two jobs were going nowhere so I let them go. The current job I am in, my boss keeps redefining my position. I used to be resistant to change but now I seem to just be waiting to see what the new day will bring. I figure I might as well go with the flow as long as I am not being pulled by the undertow. I feel something good may be on the horizon.

Obviously I don't know your job but this could be a good opportunity...he/she can't define your job?... ok, you do it and make it so that there's a plan to springboard from it.

I'm glad that you are looking at your current circumstances as a new opportunity. I heard a few teaching about how our attitude toward something can change our outlook on life and our circumstances. They say we cannot control anything, but our attitude. No matter what we try to do, we cannot gurantee how things will turn out, but we can chose to accept it and take it as a challange and something to learn from and grow.
