Dear Groupies,

Well, it's been some time since I've visited my own page. Shame on me. However, most of you understand that being a teacher can take up some time. Now that the kids are settled, I can catch up with you all and see if you are still doing well.

Some of you know that I live fairly close to Disney. Night of Joy hosted by Z88 was on Friday, 9/11 and Saturday, 9/12. As our students had a moment of silence that morning for those who died on 9/11/01, I was in prayer for those who survived 9/11. I was also in prayer that the Lord would prepare my heart for His praise because I was going to attend Night of Joy for the first time in my life.

What made the weekend even more special was that I got to meet a friend that I made on this very website, in this group. Okay, it was one of the ladies, but who knows, maybe God will bring me a male blessing for next year. However, it was great meeting someone in person from online who is the real deal in actuality, not just virtuality.
If she ever needs someone to vouch for her, I got her back!

Anyhow, Night of Joy at Disney (to those who can make it,) is truly an awesome experience. There is no other time that God is so apparent in one of the most popular theme parks of the world! His glory was definitely evident as the artists lifted Him up in song. I can only imagine how many souls were saved those two evenings as brothers and sisters in Christ lifted their hands to glorify the Lord in unity at WDW.

Next year, Night of Joy will be at Magic Kingdom! Magic Kingdom's castle is magnificent, but it doesn't hold up to the mansion that is being prepared for us by our Lord and Savior. Hallelujah and amen!

Oooo - so kewl. Just got back to the boards and find such kind words

I must say what a privilege it is to be able meet face to face a dear friend (though someone probably should have warned Jenn that we small town southerners just might hug first and say "so great to meet you" second - LOL!).

Night of Joy is a fabulous event and I highly recommend it !

You had to bring up the hugging issue didn't you! In my defense, I've gotten better with it! LOL!
