I've been reading through Proverbs the past couple of weeks and am looking for further insight to the word "wisdom."

What is the difference between knowledge and wisdom?

What does wisdom mean in Proverbs?

What evidence is there to show wisdom from folly?

In thinking about this knowledge is all you learn, wisdom is applying it correctly to your life. I have a quote on a plaque in my house and it says the first step to wisdom is silence, the second is listening. As for the rest of your questions I have no answer at this moment.(p.s. this says this icon is sarcastic but to me it could also be wonderment, which is what I am intending).

Hmmmm.... I'll have to think about wisdom as an application of knowledge. However I'm not quite sure if I completely agree with wisdom as just an application. In reading through Ecclesiastes this week, I think wisdom might be separate from knowledge. Proverbs talks about wisdom attained being more precious than rare gems, refined silver, or the most precious of gold. If wisdom is attainable, doesn't that make more than an application of knowledge?
