Seeing that there are tons of us on here that living in the Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC and surrounding area, I decided to create this topic as there has been talk of getting a Meet & Greet started.
I live in Columbia, Maryland and work in Washington, DC so I have no problem driving into Washington, DC, Annapolis, Baltimore, Silver Springs, Arlington, Alexandria, etc. Depending on whose all interested, we can go from there and finding a central meeting place.
Would a Saturday or a Sunday work out best for everyone for a brunch or dinner?
Very excited about this get together and come one come all as it's going to be so much fun!

I love the idea and would be happy to come and meet people. My only impediment is during the day I typically help run our local sporting events, so I am hoping we meet in the evening. Although I might be able to make arrangements if daytime is the only venue.
Seeing that Columbia, MD and Arlington, VA were the top two places with votes for a Saturday for Brunch, how does either Eggspectation in Columbia, Maryland sound for brunch on Saturday August 22nd at 10:00 AM or Metro 29 Diner in Arlington, Virginia on Saturday August 22, 2009 at 10:00 AM?
What place is easier for you all? I'm so excited about a meet and greet!
How about a rousing game of volleyball in Arlington, Virginia followed up with drinks at a local watering hole?!? Meeting up at 1 puts us past the brunch hour and drinks are something most people like - alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

Do you have something completely stupid to talk about? Come here. Talk. It's a simple two step process. Please have a good sense of humor about all this. It is good for the heart.
