Mmmm hmmm, not a new thing to me. I have a Dane that tops at 130 pounds and is the sweetest most gorgeous old girl but as stated above by another Dane owner, even lovers and owners of dogs get a touch of fear at times at her size.
She meets someone between the first and the third dates. If she extensively upsets, intimidates, scares or irritates them. Well there is the door and don't let it hit you where the good lord split you.
But also I understand she can be a shock to some people. I do allow that shock to wear off prior to making a decision whether or not to see them again based on their reactions...

See, if I date a girl, go to her house and she has a German Shepherd, it would put a big smile on my face, and she'd score extra points with me. I LOVE German Shepherds. Love Dogs in general, but I'm partial to shepherds. They can be intimidating to those who aren't "dog people" like we are.
