I can't believe there are no posts here regarding "The Dark Knight". I haven't seen it, but several friends have been 3, 4 times!! One said that she thought it was the best movie of the year, possibly EVER!!

Any of y'all seen it? Comments? Is it REALLY that good, or is it all the hype around Heath Ledger? Is HE that good in it?

The Movies was great.. you should totalllllly go see it

the casting in that movie was amazing. and although everyone seems to give a lot of props to Heath Ledger i would have to say Aaron Eckhart did a fantastic job as two face. Maggie did a better job at acting then Katie Holmes ever did but she looked kinda old for the role. Christopher Nolan is a great director.. all in all. AWESOME-EST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN.

and i would write some cool spoilers.. but.. this movie u have to see for yourself to know ^_^

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm planning to see it tomorrow. My daughter said it wasn't that good, and we have the same tastes. But I'm a big Christian Bale fan, so I must see itfor myself.

Will post my opinionafter seeing it tomorrow.

- I thought Wall-E was overated (The first half was better...Wall-E alone was very very good... very Chaplin-esque. Toy Story and Monsters Inc. were both better.

- Dark Knight....I never saw Heath Ledger before but that really truly was fantastic performance...twice as much would've been even better... AND!...it was a better performance than DDayLewis in There Will Be Blood...

BUT the movie was too long!...no idea why Batman had to talk like that...you don't make a 2:15 movie unless you really have alot of stuff to hold it together.

Hi

I saw The Dark Knight. Heath Ledger was amazing. He outshone (is that a word???) Batman. He is now the face that I see when I hear someone say the Joker from Batman. It used to be Jack Nicholson.

The guy that played Batman was a little over-the-top with his voice but otherwise it was good

Loved it.

Re: "I never saw Heath Ledger before..." You MUST see his performance in Brokeback Mountain! Yes, the subject is controversial, but once you get past the first 'sex' scene, it is a beautiful love story. Ledger is amazing in his portrayal of a repressed/angry man. The ending makes me cry every time I see it, and I've watched it at least 10 times!!
