thedarknite Posts: 3 See Profile I wish people will stop comparing these two movies. THey are not in the same league. THE DARK KNIGHT is not only better than IRON MAN, it isn't even close. THE DARK KNIGHT is more than a comic book movie. It's the best film of the decade. THE DARK KNIGHT makes IRON MAN look like a FRIENDS re-run. DOn't get me wrong, I Liked IRON MAN but it was safe. It was okay. It wasn't amazing. I could care less if I ever see it again. Im just saying.Cool - January 07, 2009 11:09 PM Reply to this comment Report Violation Move Topic Close topic livingdeadguy livingdeadguy now has DSL....WWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! northeast Posts: 466 See Profile hands down, TDK is phenomenal. it and Iron Man are tied for first in my book for 2008. the one thing IM had that TDK did not, was funny dialog. Michael Caine had the best one liners. but the exchange when they emptied out the secret place was the most entertaining. IM on the other hand was full of entertaining dialog, even down to the final line. thats what seals it for me. but, TDK did accomplish the rare feat of being AMAZING for 2.5 hours. i also think that Iron Man's inclusion into The Avengers helps immensely. we are in for some great Marvel movies for the next 10 years. (from casting to acting, to release, Robert Downey JR aged 3 years...gives you an idea of the time committed). - January 08, 2009 09:29 PM Reply to this comment Report Violation Remove Post luvablefrog luvablefrog is still optimistc that elusive man is still out there! They could have cut an hour off and still had a decent movie. Iron Man was a much better, more interactive and interesting film. - January 09, 2009 05:13 AM Reply to this comment Report Violation Remove Post jenichip1 Royal Oak, MI Posts: 6 See Profile I agree with luvablefrog..I, too, thought TDK was way too long and thought Iron Man was great..however, I'm a Robert Downey, Jr. fan..
