I've never been much of a fan of Kid rock, but I do like his new song/video

"All Summer long" Just makes me want to be young again!

Hey ..."Can us forty + year olds still smoke funny things and drink wiskey from the bottle??"

Anyone else like the new song?

I hate it! It's a knock off of Lynard Skinard's Sweet Home Alabama and Warren Zevon's Werewolves of London. It annoys me! Just leave the classic rock songs alone, there is a reason they're classics.

From what I've read, Kid was given the green light from both Skynard & Zevons people to use their songs....they love it!

I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's

His hair was perfect

No love for the Kid Rock song. If he was moving his music in a new direction, fine, but I'm curious, have those of you who like it listened to the whole album???

The song is good and it should of course come as no surprise that it's doing so well. I mean all he really did was take songs that were already extremely awesome and copy them.

Coming from the old time when the songs used to make this one were actually out on the radio all the time I have to say I actually like the song. It brings back good memories of growing up...as well as drinking out of bottles I might add! The sincerest form of flattery is imitation they say. I think he was not so much as trying to leverage $$ off the classic songs but rather use them to conjure up memories of growing up in that time.

No, I haven't listened to the whole album (YET!), but have heard/watched some videos from other songs off Rock & Roll Jesus on youtube, and they're good! Catchy tunes, some are even thought provoking!

'All Summer Long' has become THE song of this summer for 'me & my gang!'
