In the news today: Tyra Banks has lost 30lbs:

How Tyra Banks lost 30 pounds - CNN.com

I'm so happy for her b/c she's caught a lot of flack for her weight.

But I do have to say, personally, whenever I hear of a celebrity success story for weight loss my first thought is "Ok, well -- sure, if I could afford to have healthy meals prepared for me daily and a trainer to work with every day, I'd be thin, too!" So, I'm not AS inspired by these stories as I am by regular people's weight loss successes.

How about you?

Hey Lori is that you in the group picture??

My answer: Not really.

Celebrities are just like anybody else....struggling with weight and stuff...actually maybe I'm not so impressed if they lost weight. Many spends $100,000+ a year just on personal trainer alone and yes just like you said...you don't need to go to a restaurant and eat a healthy delicious meals at home, because a personal chef would've made them for you.

Just simple normal average people's stories inspire me. No pills either. Just pure portion control and exercise stories.
