I'm just a newbie here and one of those widows around who also longs to find friends or if the word is right.. looking for a "soulmate". In my own honest opinion, widows must be treated in the same manner as what every young woman or any single woman is being regarded attention.. they should be regarded as special women who nurtures life and faces their sense of duty towards their family. Kudos to all widows!

Remaining alone depends on the individual. You have to do what you feel is best for you. But from my experience, a lady who is a widow needs to determine if they are ready to be looking before they start looking, if they don't it might cause some unintentional hurt.

Bob is right, you have to be ready to move on before you can be happy or someone gets hurt. For someone as young as you, the 'widow' label will only work for about 2 years ... then i feel one needs to start getting back into life. i personally did it much much sooner... i just was ready.

It was just a general statement, but i do agree with each honest opinions .. there's a point in life wherein we are lost or seemed confused and we are not sure of what we want in life.. there's always a time for everything, i'm waiting on that for sure.
