Really, what music do you reach for when you're in the mood for some special time with your sweetie?

Personally, I avoid men who think Warren Zevon's Werewolves of London constitutes hot makeout music.

Lately, I've been in a Latin mood. I don't speak Spanish (or not very well) so I have little idea what the words mean, but the rhythms and mood just seem to be right. I bought some CDs by an Argentinian singer-songwriter named Federico Aubele that I was playing in the car. I never thought about it....I just thought the music was evocative and beautiful. I drove a few of the young men I worked with at the time to lunch one day and one of them blurted out:

Why are you playing dirty sex music in your car?

LOL. So that's it...Federico is my go-to dirty sex music. On the female side, Natalia Clavier.

Depends on what the woman likes, really. I can get smoochy or jiggy to pretty much any kind of music, if I don't like it I tune it out (pun intended).

Dark Side of the Moon is my go to album for sex though.

Old school....interesting. See, that would just remind me of high-school makeout sessions in cramped cars (lol...or more typically, pickup trucks) parked in cowfields somewhere. Not that those are bad memories, by any means.

I've got a love-hate thing with Amy Winehouse. Gawd she's completely repulsive, but her voice makes me melt!

Same here. When she's on, her voice is fantastic. But I can never quite get those images out of my brain...

Music that gets me in the mood is a little embarrassing. I never really play music though because I usually can't hear it over all of the other noises. lol
