I was lap swimming at my health club one evening, and this young guy in the next lane asked me how to do flip turns. I tried to give him a lesson; we chatted and flirted a little, and then our legs brushed against each other under the lane lines... and we ended up making out (it was dark with few lights on around the pool.)

Then I found out he was 18 years younger than I.

Yes but how do you do a kick turn? Sorry never could do one....

thanks for bumping this up-I missed it first time around....lessee.......so many stories so little time.

First-I hardly dated men my own age or older because of Viet Nam and the *major issues* so many of the guys came home with. A whole generation lost in space.

When I was 42 (and had a 22 year old son) I met a guy while I was working-he asked me to go dancing that night, then again, then gave me a real rush. We only went out every other weekend when my ex had the younger kids at his place. I never asked his age-he never asked mine until about 5 months later, when my son was home on leave.

Turns out he and my son were a year apart in age and knew each other from high school. I don't know who was more embarrassed, me, my date or my son.We had great sex, great fun and drank a lot of beer though-and continued dating for a couple of years.

My first husband was 6 years younger than I was-he traded me in for an older woman????

My second husband was a bit more than 10 years younger than I.

Really, about the only time I've dated in my age group is now and Mr B is several years older and I am. And it shows, but most of the dates I've been on since I began dating again have been with younger than I men.

I think Cougar is funny..what I don't like is GILF..(granny etc etc etc)
