So I recently dated someone who eventually broke it off with me. I asked why he broke up with me, and one of the things helisted was beinghairy down there. I keep it clean, andtrimmed up but he wanted me to shave it. So guys out there...Is it a turn off for girls to have hair down there? And girls would you shave it for a guy? I've honestly never really thought about it before this, so is it common to shave it?

I have no idea how common it is to shave it, but I wouldn't do it for HIM. If you do it, it should be for YOU. Do you think HE would shave HIS? Since I've kept my identity anonymous, I can honestly say that I've tried it,and Iwon't do it again. First, that's the last place you want to risk ingrown hairs orinfection,Second, I think the good Lord put hair there for a reason- it aids movement, kind of like a natural lubricant. All kinds of embarassing sounds happenwithout the hair!Think suction between two bodies-(not pretty sounds)In addition,I have to say that if I were a guy trying to make that promotion it would not be for shaving, but for a brazilian wax. How good would it feel to have sex with a girl who has a healthy '5-oclock shadow' down there? If you think our legs hurt in bed at night when we don't shave them, it seems like regrowth would HAVE to be uncomfortable if not downright painful on his privates! (guys?) I'd stick with the well-trimmed approach.


On another note,I think if he was crazy about youhe would just be thrilled to be having sex with you, and it wouldn't be a deal-breaker. Geez,if THAT isn't something that's up for discussion, what is?

I dated a guy who preferred the brazilian so I did that which felt very strange in the beginning but I got used to it. Now I'm dating a guy who likes it to be all natural - not even trimmed, so I'm doing that. None of the guys asked me to do it, I did it because I wanted to do it for them. And I'm benefitting from it as it's a turn-on for him.

I don't understand the completely shaved craze. I prefer a woman who keeps it trim and clean down there. A well manicured landing strip is perfect. I'll even be her barber.

I'm a wood floor! lmao! No hair AT ALL down there.


Also instead of shaving I like waxing better. I do the brazilian wax.


I didn't start doing it for any guy, just for myself. I'm not a big fan of hair down there on myself but have no objections to a guy that keeps his extremely well trimmed and groomed.
