I've noticed so many women on E Harmony having a dog or up to 3+ 4 dogs. What's up? Does being single make them get one? Then there's the inevitable "my partner must love my dogs."And you see a picture of the lady with 2gigantichorses, er I mean dogs. Hey I'm an animal lover (animals are better than most people) butI just wantedto seeif others noticed this.

All good energy,

I have no pets but when school is done I expect to take up cat wrangling and herding.

Could it be that they are trying to see who they get to ask about it? LMAO

This is in fun, not poking fun.

good luck...

onto the main topic: i figure women want companionship so they get a dog, while they're waiting to find some guy.

Thanks for responding everyone. I have noticed the same question posted in a Yahoo dating website (why do so many women on E Harmony have dogs and some have a lot of dogs?) So it's not just me who noticed; there is a definate pattern to this. Perhaps being single makes us lonely. And we strive to overcome this via our pets.

Examples would be the many women I communicated with via EH who had 3 + 4 dogs. Some were huge and I had to wonder...hmmm her, me and four dogs + 2 cats on the bed?

All good energy,

All good energy,

I don't mean to offend anyone but dogs on the bed! Big dogs, 3 or 4! No way. Even my little Yorkie isn't allowed on my bed. He has his own bed and that's where he sleeps.

Oh yes way! Though I don't know how many do that.there were a few that suggested must get along and be able to share the bed with her animals. Awww must be cute seeing the Yorkie all cuddled up.

My Yorkie is a darling but I go so far as his bed is not in my room. He gets to spend his nights in his crate in the kitchen. As much as I do adore him I have an aversion to animals in my bedroom. That is the 4 legged kind.
