I must say eHarmony did not work for me. It was a waste of my money. So I thought ok, maybe I'd find someone on one of the group sites. So far no success there either. How has any of these work for you? Do you know of anyone who has gotten hooked up on group sites?

Like you, eHarmony was a waste of time and money. Most frustrating?
Point 1: Many of the women seem too cheap to pay for the membership after the trial period.

Point 2: Many matches were not reasonably appealing in look and/or persona (based on profile comments).

Point 3: Some of the few appealing women that I initiated communication, neither reviewed my profile nor responded, probably because of Point 1.

I may give it another try after a 3-6 month hiatus.

Well, there is a 10-day free communication week happening on eharmony, starting today. Maybe some of the cheap chics will finally return to the site.
