As of about 1/2 hour ago, I am a gramma. Baby Terry and his mom are doing fine and I am going up next week to see my first grandbaby.

Congratz ... You don't strike me as a "Geritol generation" grandmotherly type. You seem young and hip. But, congratulation anyways!

Don't worry, Rix. Just because I have a grandbaby doesn't mean I am going to lose the rock songs or beats and rhythms that fill part of my music teaching and I go to a church where I am not going to get into any kind of "geritol" rut. LOL Interesting, I didn't find Terry's entrance into the world made me feel old. Instead, it just made me happy to know I am young enough to still truly enjoy him.

My daughter had the baby by C-section though I found out in a second call. During the labour process his heartbeat went irregular so they had to get him out faster. That will slow down her recovery.. I wouldn't mind your prayers.

As my kids at school would say, 4 more sleeps until I get to hold and meet my precious little grandson. I posted a picture of him on the Lindsey's fan club thread.
