Oh, by the way, they got home from the hospital yesterday and my daughter seems to be recovering just fine from the C-section.

Grand children are the best. Nothing beats that clean baby smell. As grandma or mam ma as I am known, you get the fun times and can hand the really messy diapers back to mom or dad.

So here I am half way to my grandbaby. I am staying in a hotel tonight because I am not a night driver. One more sleep and I get to see our precious little one.

I want to send a picture to here before I head home today. This is one more of my precious little grandson, Terry. This one is taken by gramma though.

Congrats, cour. Rix is right, you don't seem the grandma type. You must have been 14 when your first child was born! :P I hope I'm at least younger than my brothers when they became grandparents (one at 62, other is now 64 and likely never to have g-kids). Hope your trip was safe and uneventful.

He is so beautiful Coeuri. I am so happy for you. Grandbabies are a blessing from the Lord. I got the privilege last night to watch my granddaughter all night. Her mom was sick and daddy was working. It's been a long time since I slept with a baby and was still fun...I didn't miss my sleep one bit. :-)
