Thanks for the clarification, p5cents.

I think that's the kind of answer I would have given if I had believed in god. As it stands, I give a similar answer when I'm asked this kind of question in general terms, without reference to god.

Using our resources as best we can. Helping others by doing things that we are good at. Letting others help with things we're not so good at. Help, teach, encourage, collaborate, do our part, and of course, love.

I call it "the right thing" rather than "god's plan", but the description in practical terms is pretty much the same. The process of figuring it out boils down to figuring out what's good (and worry about what god is thinking later).
