in the lighthearted nature of this I have to say:

I'm sick! Bah Humbug!

So uh, Linsdey, do you think you could spare some God ooze? I'm thinking it would make me feel better.

Me too! But even so I shall still praise Him.

Lord I pray for my brother and ask you touch him, heal him, return him to soundness and wholeness in spirit, soul, and body. May he feel Your presence as Your Spirit fills him up to overflowing regenerating him and purging out everything in his body that is causing him to be sick. Thank you Father for your goodness and mercy.

I hope you feel better soon!

Sorry, Chawks, didn't know how to shrink a picture in something already posted so reposted right under your comment.

I haven't seen him in person yet, NotYet. Will be going to see him this week. He lives too far away to se him on the spur of the moment so I am taking planned time off work.

I'm sorry to hear you're sick. That's never fun. I'm just getting over a cold that lasted for three weeks, so I definitely understand. I hope you start feeling better soon. Do you like tomatoes? My mom makes this soup that is the best cure for colds. Well, maybe it's not so much a cure as it is just plain comfort food. I don't know if you have Lipton's Chicken Noodle Soup mix in the U.S., but if you do, use two cups of water and two cups of tomato juice, pour in the soup mix, and cook it up. It only takes about seven minutes or so and it's one of the best things there is when you're feeling icky.

I hope you feel better soon! Get lots of rest and drink lots of fluids. Sleep is good, too. Hopefully this won't last long.
