Now that most people have gone digital, do you print out your photos or do you enjoy them on a computer? ...what is your favorite photo of?

99.99% of my photos are left on the PC, but I have a slideshow screensaver... of course

I travel a lot so it used to be a picture of waterfalls cascading down a purple Uluru. Very rare to see the Australia Red Centre inundated with rain, it was a "photo opportunity" if ever there was one.

These days, although I still travel o/s annually, favourite pics are of the niece and nephews. Top of the list is a close up of my 3month old nephew with the biggest toothless, chubbiest, bald-headed grins.

... wow, this is too cool to hit on a thread that has a doubling post delay of three then six months ... that means the next person 'can't' post until, um, January 2010 ... hee hee

In answer to the OP, I save most of my digital shots on computer, print out a few, stick them on my fridge, use them for publicity/promotion purposes and otherwise give them away ... I also still shoot film and process them 'the old fashioned way', and finally, I 'pinhole' ... and do the darkroom stuff myself using light sensitive paper for both negative and positive prints ... I mix it up all the time cuz I enjoy the 'craft' and the different 'disciplines' within the craft.

Favourite photo? hmmmm. Tough call. But, at the moment, it would have to be a shot of my dad from up at the cottage when we were kids ... It's a great shot of him, him at his best. He died in 2002. I've also got a really nice one of my Aunt who is 93 ... she's a battle-axe honey.

Most of the photos that surround me are of family, friends, and locations that I've really enjoyed or are memorable for other reasons .... I've got one, for example, from about a decade ago that sits in the middle of my desk. That is a shot off the bow of small skivvy that I was driving solo through heaving treacherous waters up North ... . I thought, at the time, I was going to capsize and drown in those wild rolling waters. The waves were SOOOO HUGE. My little boat was so small. I was trying to cross an 'opening' to get from one group of islands to another on route to the base camp. The water was TREACHEROUS. I thought I wasn't going to make it. I thought I was gonna DIE. Seriously. That was one heck of a hairy 'ride'. BUT, I made it, drenched, 2 hours late, only to get ribbed by the 'locals' for getting 'lost' and 'holding up supper' .... Ha! man, I just LOVE those northern folk ...That photo always brings a smile whenever I think about that crazy boat 'run' ... Those were FUN DAZE.
