LOL....there's different reasons we're HOT at this age.....

We are hot because it's summer....in that case....it's 95 degrees today with 100 percent humidity so I'll be extremely hot...so that would be a 10plus.

Or there's being furious about something...which I never am.....so that's a zero for me.

There's also those lovely hormonal flashes that hit women in our age group which make you purge all the fluid in your body at once.....luckily I've missed those....so that's a zero.

Then there's the hot based on inner beauty, tenacity, humor, wisdom, intelligence, compassion and empathy for others..and a love for life......give me a ten plus for that one.

And finally....the hot I expect you are looking for......and that's the first impression....

physically charged....self-confident in knowing who you are....loving life and all that might happen ...a sexual aura that you give off when you walk into a room....and based on that one......I'd say an 8....maybe 9.

So how hot am I?

I'm thinking I am doing great....for 57.....going on 35 in my mind.

How hot are you?

I think each of us could manage to raise a man's temperature a bit, federal way, so that makes us all pretty hot!

I assume by "hot" you mean Having One (hellofa) Time!!!! I am working a full time job, going to the gym 5 days a week, doing Pilates better than women half my age and I just painted the inside of my garage!!!!! I have seen some of the men who are over 60 requesting women who are not over 45. Most of them need to take a good look in the mirror. Sad. JJ

It depends on your definition of "hot"!! If yourdefinition is awoman who is totally independent, works full time, confident in herself, knows what she wants, loves life and lives it to the fullest, stays in shape (just went sky diving for the first time July 5 and LOVED IT!), but also knows how to please a man, without being subservient, then yes ... we're pretty HOT!!

Dear Houston, Oh Yes.... I feel HOT Like U!

It's a beautiful thing, being over 50. No more decisions about how many kids we want, diaper bags, birthday parties for heaven-knows-how-many kids (some of whom are the brattiest brats of your friends) and parent/teacher conferences! Our kids are young adults, and they're becoming more enjoyable because they are growing into themselves. I wouldn't go back, except for a fewtimes a year (if time travel were really an option) to my college days when I studied like mad all week, and sex, drugs, and rock n roll owned the weekends. I couldn't do it again, the hang overs would KILL me!

So, why eHarmony? Simple enough. I want aBFF andred hot lover to grow old with. I don't NEED a man. I want a man for the companionship and sexual love that I crave. The thought of growing old by myself isn't the way I want it. My mother outlived 2 husbands. She died last year at the age of 87. Shedrove to Super Walmart in April to shop for gifts and party stuff for her girlfriend's 85th b'day party that she hostedApril 15. Mom died May 11. She was alive and vital. The reason? Her love for, and the love she received from Arthur (who passed in 2003) kept her young and active.

I know, in my heart, that the life that Art had with my mother is the life every man on this site wants. I think they, too,are afraid of growing old alone. I think some are immobilized by their fears, kinda like a deer in the headlights. It probably has a lot to do with worry about whether or not their retirement $$$ will last until they kick it. And worse, erectile dysfunction is the monster that lives under their bed every night. A lot of men STILL won't go see the doc for some Viagra. Maybe that would/will change when they find one of the HOT ones here in their own back yards. You better believe I'd speak outabout Viagra!!!

I look forward to chatting back and forth with this wonderful sisterhood.

I am (soon to be was) using this site. Had NO luck at all. Matches were very far away-no pictures and no responses when I did start communication. I think the site is too expensive for me to have to jump through hoops to meet someone for a cup of coffee, especially when they live 1000 miles or more away!!!! I will stick to fate or enjoy life as it is. JJ

Oh Yes, I'm with U all the way - I'm Hot, Hot, Hot!

It's so wonderful to be Mature and Hot. The kids are now young adults, no more diaper bags, birthday parties for heaven-knows how many kids (a couple are always the brattiest brats of your adult friends) no moreparent teacher conferences, and no more pediatrician visits. I wouldn't go back for anything, except maybe a weekend or two at college. Any more than that, and the hangover would kill me!

I sense that the difference between women in our age group and the men has to do with fear. The thought of growing old alone is hard on a woman, but women more often have girlfriends and family members to socialize with, and they entertain in their homes. Men, in my observation, aren't as likely to socialize unless they're in a commited relationship with a woman. I think men might worry a bit more about whether or not their retirement $$$ will last until they kick it. Also, there's the issue of erectile dysfunction. Some men are just too inhibited to see the doc about the Cialis/Viagra.
