We seem to be stuck for the last few days on Roger Wittiker.

So we need a new topic. Now that many of us above the Mason/Dixon line have said goodbye to summer, any new goals or resolutions for this winter?

I am going to get back into working with stained glass as an additional hobby. There is way too much time in the winter to kill. I used to do this, but other things took it's place over the years.

Also plan to lose another 20 pounds this winter..... how many times have I heard that one!

Winter months means more home improvement indoor projects for me......sigh. And, I need to keep working on eliminating extra clutter in my house. Well, most would say my house is not cluttered, but there's always "things" we absolutely DO NOT need. Mostly items I can donate.

Weight?? I usually tend to lose weight during the winter.....like hot soups a lot during the cold months. Gotta get a head start for the Holiday treats and general overstuffing oneself.

Winter is my favorite time of year, especially the autumn months. I sort of start "nesting" in October and get ready for the holidays . . . making Christmas cards, start buying gifts, knitting scarves and hats, etc. (yeah, I knit and crochet . . . I'm not totally devoid of the "Susie Homemaker" Gene)

My resolution for the last 6 monthshas beenpreparing to cut my first CD starting in January/February of next year. I've got all my musical ducks in a row and I'm looking forward to starting that "little" project. I'll be saving a lot of $ doing my own artwork and doing Graphic trades with some really amazing musicians to do back up for me.

Ya know what I'd really enjoy getting next year is a Beach Cruiser bike as well. I love riding but I can't stand those skinny little 10 speeds. I'm too old to be that fast! That would be kinda fun. I keep looking on ebay for a good deal.

Other then that, it's life as usual. . . which for me is never "usual"

Yep, it is getting chilly again up north.

I also have some closets to clean and clutter/stuff to deal with. My daughter is getting married in March so we'll be finalizing plans for that event. I would like to do some sewing again, it's been a long time.

I wish I could lose 20 pounds...working on it, not holding my breath. (Who is it that says "not gonna get there with wish bone...gotta have back bone!")

I am loving the fall weather and getting ready for the snow! I plan to take as many weekends as possible to ski at Silver Mt. and other great places. Lose 20 lbs...ah well, c'est la vie
