what a great way to meet new men. i love eharmony. i love men and talking to men. men are fascinating to me-what an interesting species. while there are men who don't respect women. who play mind games etc... for the most part i think men are great-they make good friends and most of them don't stress like women. anyone with me on this? let's here it for men. lets have a topic to tell men how great they are. please share your positives about men, both genders invited-let's give men a boost-inspire them, make them feel good and tell them just how much we appreciate them.

There are only two men and women based on human species.I definitely find men interesting and attractive because they are total different kind of species than women. It is always fun and challenging to meet someone or something new and different than we are.

However, how do you think about being just friends with men? Do you believe that men would like to just be friends with women?

Ha! Nice post. I feel the same way about women. So interesting, mysterious, different, fun, soft, smell good, etc... I have more close female friends than I do guy friends. Don't get me wrong, I love hanging out with the guys, tossing back some beers, going to football games and all that. But when it comes down to what makes life worth living, for me at least, it's women.

Hi.

To address the question about being just friends.

Ever seen the movie "When Harry Met Sally". I don't believe that men can ever "just be friends" with a woman unless he is committed in a relationship and his partner is also friends with the woman. I just finished reading a phenomenal book loaned to me by a professional counserlor and it is quite explicit about the term "Just friends". Don't believe its possible. I do believe however that a woman can most definitely have a plautonic relationship with a man.

There are just as many mind game men as woman out there.

The trick is for guys, not to go for the barbie models,They dont have to nice, or friendly. They get all the guy freinds they want without being good company.

The same goes for woman, Rich, hunks,or whatever dont need to be nice, they have a line of waiting woman allready in the shadows.

I have met some of the greatest non sexual female friends by going into left field.

Some I have never met, probably never will, but they are great company when you are stuck at home bored out of your mind.

I am a lady - 52; for the past ten years or so I have had more guy friends - I do get along better with them. As much as I want girlfriends they can be back-stabbers, but I do like women too for chatting about stuff. I really agree with you though - guys are great! In the best of all worlds it is good to have some guys friends and lady friends to have coffee with or talk. I met some new friends where I've moved - three ladies aged 45 to 70 and we sit out once a week and have wine. They are so nice. So, I don't want to generalize not all women are backstabbers but at work they are the ones who talk behind each others backs.

I, too, love men and agree they are a wonderful, strange species. I love how their hands can be so gentle when caressing and yet strong when doing manual labor. They are funny and uncomplicated. I love men.

Men do make life more exciting! We are so different from each other and yet we can also complement each other so beautifully. I watch the relationships around me. I'm amazed at my son and his wife. They are two that complement each other. I love to watch them work through issues. I would love to find a match like that!

Let's hear it for men. I've always had more male friends than female friends, until recently when I've had just as many female friends as male. My problem used to be that male friends tended to want to be more than friends, and that most of the time I didn't want to go there. Now that I'm older, most of my male friends are married and hence unavailable for anything more, and that's just fine in most cases because I'm not attracted to them in "that way". It's nice to have them as friends. On the other hand, it would be nice if EH could actually find me someone to feel "that way" about. ;-)
