I feel I have no right to judge any woman by looks.

I've found the best sex I've ever had was from woman who didnt seem to be sexual at all at first, Because they thought having kids had 'ruined' there looks somehow.

Thats a load of crap.

I'd rather have a woman with wrinkles/stretch marks anyday over a dead body in the bedroom.

Having 'fun in the sun' is nothing without the 'fun 'part.

My brother once caught a beautiful trout with a rock because he didn't have his fly rod with him, and didn't want the fish to get away! I have been told that we often find our soulmate when we aren't looking, but I sure hope I don't find him by either being knocked unconscious by a rock, or knocking him inconscious! That wouldn't be a very nice beginning, and possibly a rapid ending as well!

While I am looking for a long lasting relationship with a soulmate, I also know that I have to put the line into the water in order to at least discover the possibility of long lasting. And hopefully I will find some good friends in the process.

While I understand that the physical attraction is important, I would hope that those of us 40 and older will be aware enough to know that it isn't everything.

I don't recall anyone saying that it is 'everything" the key is to find someone who has similar priorities, how would you feel if you met a man and everything was great and he told you that he would be glad to continue the relationship on a platonic basis because he was not physically attracted to you,he has a great personality and is everything you were looking for and considered to be "everything"in a relationship....would you agree to such a relationship ? if not why ? would physical attraction at that point become everything?...making decisions for yourself is a right, judging for yourself what is and is not important is a right....you can't make that choice for others, you can't shame them into it,or criticise them into it.

I do believe that there are good solid men out there for us we just have to find them so in that I pray to God every day to lead me to the one that's for me, it's just going through these others that can get depressing at times but then I turn and look at myself and say no I don't have that 20 year old body anymore but I have better the experience for a lasting and happy relationship I just have to find the man that wants that and I know him to be out there whether on eharmony or not that's another thing but I'm not giving up and I hope that you won't either.

True. 40 and older is suppose to be where wisdom has it's stand. A time to know it's what a person brings into the relationship moreso then what's superficial. I time to teach the youth to look beyond the youthful figure because that will leave one day it's the heart and soul that count. A young man or woman that will be there for you the rest of your life. If 40+ is not speaking this way then they haven't grown to maturity yet. Wisdom doesn't come with age, it's not given, it's earned through life's experiences. The point is some people never learn or better still some people have never been through anything to teach them.
