I am 26 years old and I joined EH in hopes of finding Mr. Right rather than Mr. Right Now. My best friend found her husband on here and it gave me hope because they are absolutely amazing together. Unfortunately, I haven't had good luck so far! The bar scene does not seem ideal and the club scene is all wrong and smells like sweaty alcoholics. So...EH it is! And even though I am getting several matches a day, at least half of them have no picture, another 1/4 are guys 3 inches or more shorter than I am, and the other 1/4 don't respond to any kind of communication. Maybe its true that when you aren't looking the one will just show up one day?

I'm 25 and am also doing EH - got out of a long term relationship, was out of the dating scene for a while, then moved from the city to a rural college town for grad school. Thought I would meet a lot of other single students, but there isn't much of a community here for older students and those I do know are married/engaged/in a serious relationship - very few single people, which was a surprise to me and much different from the people I knew back home - have very few married friends back home. So, since it seemed difficult to even meet anyone who was single, let alone who I liked, I sucked it up and tried the internet dating thing.


How long have you been on EH? I've been doing this since Jan. and I have only gone on two dates so far. I'm not giving up yet, but I think it will take some time...a lot of people have no picture/don't respond because they are not paying members. I just see EH as a great tool to meet people - if I find the one, that's great. But Mr. Right Now is sounding pretty good too these days


Oh, and the thing about how when you aren't looking the one will just show up one day? My mom tells me that all the time. I just roll my eyes...

I live in Japan. While there are many great guys here, there are very few Christian guys. Since I want to marry a Christian guy, I have to look elsewhere.

I am 26, work for a small company and am not interested in the bar/club scene. Thus, I figured I would give this a shot





I'd say a similar number, from the guy's point of view, also don't have photos and most of the remainder never respond. Though the number of daily matches seems to have dropped off a great deal. It used to be 3-7 a day, now it's around 1-2 a week.

I'm 27 and live in a rural community where everyone knows everyone except for me because I moved here. There are a lot of Christian men around - who are spoken for. So I've chosen eHarmony as a last resort. And that's what I had hoped it would be. I even narrowed my field down so specifically to get matched with what I was looking for and have received about 450 matches. Several have gone into OC. And just as soon as they go to OC, they drop me. Sometimes I get put "on hold" which really ticks me off or I get closed out. One guy even had the nerve to tell me he'd never really been interested in me as a future mate after we talked many times on the phone and discussed future plans.

I'm 22 years old andI don't think I'm looking for "Mr. Right" but more like, "Mr. Right-For-Me." I don't do the bar/club scene and I've learned from experience that you don't look for relationships in your Gaming group, breakups lead to hurt feelings, torn groups, and thrown/lost dice.


I haven't had much success with EH yet, but I'm biding my time and hopefully someone'll come along who wouldn't mind getting to know a gamer-chick who has her own special kind of crazy.
