I didn't realize I was one of those women who freaked out about age, but apparently I am. 29 is hitting me hard. I guess I thought I'd have things figured out by the time I hit 30. I'm still divorced, a single mother, no career at this time... Makes me crazy to think about. I'm sad to be saying goodbye to my 20's, the college, drinking, crazy fun years and looking into the "adult" years of my life. Ugh!!! I guess I'm going to have to really enjoy this last year and make it something to really remember!

Looks like you're turning in a few days.... I thought I would be the first to wish you a Happy Birthday. I am turning 28 in March and am starting to freak. I too didn't think I was the type but apparently am..lol... How are you doing? Have you met anyone since your last birthday post?

I'll be 29 this year too and like you I thought I'd never care that much about turning a specific age. I've accomplished a lot so far, I think, but not in the relationship/family department. Seeing so many of my friends getting married and having children AND me turning 29 is making it seem surreal.
Anyways just letting you know I'm there with and I don't think we're alone but we'll make it through!

I had a hard time with my last birthday, too (25 in Dec). And like the rest of you I never thought my age would bother me.... LOL I was wrong. I did find that once my b-day passed it was alot easier. Hope it's the same for you, KatieA

Amen sister! I turned 29 last year and will be entering the next decade in a few months. I completely freaked out when I turned 29. Said that for every birthday beyond this I would always just turn 29 again. I'm still a little hesitant, but have accepted it more over the past few months. It helps to have some friends in their 30s...

Enjoy the year, as I will be enjoying the next few months, and remember that you can still have fun at all ages!!
