I haven't been on these boards in almost a year. I decided to work my way back on here. I'm 26. I'm toying with the idea of using eharmony again, I used it last summer for a few months. Now, I've never had a girlfriend, well I've had 1, that was this year, but it was very long distance and it lasted 2 months. But all the women I'm meeting aren't single anymore. The area where I live is also terrible for meeting people. So, I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing or not.

Good for you if you are seriously looking i suggest, meeting people at a club, some outing, volunteering and even going to a different town or city to meet people.

By the way E-harmony only works 25% of the time, not always.
People take forever to answer back and never reply your requests either
so best bet is going out there.

Besides you still young, you have plenty of time to meet someone.

I am single if you ever want to hook up.

Thank you for the advice. I'm not really into the club scene. I also only seem to click with certain types of people which I don't run into very often. The closest city would probably be Boston, but that's about an hour and 1/2 away. Providence is ok, I guess. I'm also working pretty much every day including weekends now.

I actually did try volunteering this summer. There were some girls there but I was the only one who ended up volunteering in the end.

Yeah I know I'm still young, but I'm still tired of being a bachelor I'd like at least to see what it's like to have a gf before I turn 30.

Sure If you live anywhere near me that'd be cool.
