-Have you ever been fired?
My "position was eliminated" in a round of layoffs once.

-How often do you go over the speed limit?
Um...how often do I drive? Just kidding but...fairly often.

-Were you considered popular in high school? Why or why not?
No...I was a poor kid at a "rich" school...that pretty much sums it up.

-Do you dance like crazy, when no one is looking?
Once in a blue moon, if I'm in a REALLY good mood.

-Do you like to sing in the shower? If so, what do you sing?
No...but I do sing in my car. A lot of Colbie Caillat, Jewel, Sheryl Crowe...chick music.

-Did you ever run away from home? Why/ why not?
Once, when I was six years old because my mother tried to punish me. I packed my little Barbie suitcase, went outside and stood on the corner. Nothing happened (not sure what exactly I was expecting) so before too long I got bored and/or cold and went back into my house.

-Did you ever have a teacher who picked on you?
No, I never gave them a reason to - I was always a teacher's pet.

-What really gives you the creeps?
Bugs and other squishy, slimy things.

-Did you have a nickname in middle school or high school?
No, but for some reason in college I became known as "Lorita Pita Pocket" among my circle of friends. No, I didn't really eat a lot of pita pockets or anything...lol...I just have *really* goofy friends!

-What was your favorite toy when you were a kid?
Operation, the wacky doctor's game!! I was GREAT at it. Ironically I tried it recently (within the last year or so) and was HORRIBLE at it, I kept getting zapped.

I also liked "Perfection" -- the game where you had to put the shaped pieces into the correct holes before time ran out and it popped? Even though I knew it was coming, the POP! always scared the heck out of me!

-Have you ever been fired?
I was let go. I finished computerizing a home loan office at age 17. Then they tried to call me back to enhance the system, but would not pay then current consulting rates.

-How often do you go over the speed limit?
Uh, there is a statute of limitations, right? I don't drive excessively fast now, but sometimes a bit over the "limit". In high school, I rebuilt a camero into a stock car, used flight fuel for gas, and topped out at about 140 mph.

-Were you considered popular in high school? Why or why not?
Nope, I was a nerd, and the term "geek" had not yet been invented.

-Do you dance like crazy, when no one is looking?
Of course.

-Do you like to sing in the shower? If so, what do you sing?
Of course! Opera, jazz, and rock.

-Did you ever run away from home? Why/ why not?
Not that I recall. My parents were always nice to me.

-Did you ever have a teacher who picked on you?
Nope. I was mostly bored in school. Oh wait, one substitute picked on me, not letting me read my computer newspaper during math class.

-What really gives you the creeps?
Cold blooded creatures. You can't trust them!

-Did you have a nickname in middle school or high school?
I hated this nickname... I did a lot of upper body development via swimming, and some guys decided to call me "Boob" instead of "Bob".

-What was your favorite toy when you were a kid?
I designed, made, and flew model rockets for fun, and competed in contests. My dad and his friends designed the boosters for NASA, so I had a big advantage with great advice.

Have you ever been fired?
Not that I can remember. Laid off yes

-How often do you go over the speed limit?
On the highway/interstate. I set the cruise at 7 to 9 miles over the speed limit.

-Were you considered popular in high school? Why or why not?
Nope. I was 5'2" and 180 lbs till my junior year by then the damage had been done.

-Do you dance like crazy, when no one is looking?
Two bad knees keep me from doing that.

-Do you like to sing in the shower? If so, what do you sing?
If I had a shower, maybe, but all I have is an old claw foot bathtub. When I lie in a hot tub of water, I don't feel like singing.

-Did you ever run away from home? Why/ why not?
Nope. My parents wouldn't let me.

-Did you ever have a teacher who picked on you?
Yep. I liked college better where the teachers drank and partied with me.

-What really gives you the creeps?
Finger nails on a chalk board

-Did you have a nickname in middle school or high school?
Yep. If you ask nicely I'll tell ya.

-What was your favorite toy when you were a kid?
My BB gun. I used to build models, and then shoot em up with it.

I've been a part of a major reduction in force, yes.

-How often do you go over the speed limit?
Almost every day

-Were you considered popular in high school? Why or why not?
No. Drugs and drinking were popular at my school, and you did that or were an achiever. I was somewhere in the middle.

-Do you dance like crazy, when no one is looking?
More like sing.

-Do you like to sing in the shower? If so, what do you sing?
I love to sing in general. Just whatever is on

-Did you ever run away from home? Why/ why not?
No but I often wanted to. I was a very independent kid with not a lot of supervision, but I really wanted the guidance. I had good parents, but they were involved in other things.

-Did you ever have a teacher who picked on you?
I had teachers that were friends and teachers that loathed me. I think i'm a love her or loathe her kind of person.

-What really gives you the creeps?
The deep end of a dark pool at night. brrrrrrr

-Did you have a nickname in middle school or high school?
no but when i got older we had fake names that we would give to guys at bars. Stuff like Lola, Margaret, just whatever we could come up with.

-What was your favorite toy when you were a kid?
My dolls and my model horses. I loved them both.

-How often do you go over the speed limit? Weekly ... reminds self it is a LIMIT, not a CHALLENGE! Vroom Vroom!

-Were you considered popular in high school? Why or why not? Um no. Definitely not. Because I either had my nose stuck in a book, or if I thought you were a total moron, I said 'Hey, you know, you're a total moron!' Surprisingly, I found that approach did not work successfully for me!

-Do you dance like crazy, when no one is looking? Yes, I love to dance.

-Do you like to sing in the shower? If so, what do you sing? Yes. I sing along to whatever is playing on my iPhone shuffle. I mostly have songs with a good, strong dance beat playing.

-Did you ever run away from home? Why/ why not? No. It never occurred to me.

-Did you ever have a teacher who picked on you? Yes, when I was about 10. Unfortunately for her, my Dad overheard on one occasion, she was very nearly fired for her treatment of me and treated me pleasantly after that. My Dad has presence.

-What really gives you the creeps? People who can crack every joint in his/her body. My friend H does it all the time in his hands and ankles ... it makes my skin crawl.

-Did you have a nickname in middle school or high school? Yep. Mez, Mezza, Mezzy, Maz, Mazza, Garfield and later: Meri.

-What was your favorite toy when you were a kid? Matchbox cars! We had a dirt driveway, I used to amuse myself for hours on end (sitting in the dirt to the disgust of my Mum) by making 'roads' and moving cars around on them. Of course, they went around the corners in proper Dukes of Hazard style!

-Have you ever been fired? No, never thank goodness!
-How often do you go over the speed limit? I usually drive 5 miles over and thats it. Unless I am on the highway, then I will go maybe 10! I am a daredevil! LOL
-Were you considered popular in high school? Why or why not? No, I was a loner in high school. I was really afraid of rejection and had a hard time making new friends. I stuck with my little group.

-Do you dance like crazy, when no one is looking? Of course!! Who doesn't?
-Do you like to sing in the shower? If so, what do you sing? I always sing in the shower, I sing in the car. Even if people are in the car with me! I sing whatever song I have stuck in my head or what's in my cd player in my car!
-Did you ever run away from home? Why/ why not? No, never.
-Did you ever have a teacher who picked on you? No, I was a good student!
-What really gives you the creeps? People who don't shower/take care of themselves! Oh, and bugs, especially spiders!

Twice; 1- In my late teens, working the counter at a GNC, I fell asleep behind the register for pretty much an entire shift. Woops.
2- Working as a telemarketer, I told the floor manager exactly what I thought of him. Worth it.

-How often do you go over the speed limit?
Not at all any more, but when I still drove about 90% of the time.

-Were you considered popular in high school? Why or why not?
Fairly, I was a guy who could get things.

-Do you dance like crazy, when no one is looking?
Yes

-Do you like to sing in the shower? If so, what do you sing?
Yes. Usually Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin

-Did you ever run away from home? Why/ why not?
Yes. My childhood and adolescence was bad. Longest gone was four months when I was 14.

-Did you ever have a teacher who picked on you?
Yes, an English teacher in 9th grade. That guy hated me for some reason.

-What really gives you the creeps?
Red Ants. When I was a little kid (still in the onsies age range) I sat down on a nest of red ants in Anaheim Ca, they swarmed me and I went into anaphylactic shock. I'm not really afraid of them, but they make my skin crawl.

-Did you have a nickname in middle school or high school?
Flip. I had long bangs and the sides were shaved in ubercool 80's skater fashion.

-What was your favorite toy when you were a kid?
A collection of Erector sets that had been my dads when he was a kid. Legos too, I'd probably still play with both if I had them.

Yes and no .. I floated between all the clicks

Yes.. have a shower radio..so whatever is on

no I never did..not sure why

Yes I did. he was also my golf coach .I beat him all the time

People that shower at the gym with no flip flops!

Boomer.. I was a left handed QB in HS

Hands down my Big Wheel!!

No. neither unpopular either, somewhere in the middle, I'd say.

No, I make goofy faces when no one is looking.

I used to, but the walls are so thin in my new apartment, the neighbors would think I'm being strangled.

No. Because my parents would have let me...there were nine of us in the house, so no one would have noticed anyway.

Not really, most of them were just generally annoying.

Not much, really.
