Well thank you for admiting it, but please try in the future to just avoid posters that offend you rather than pushing the issue (which I may have misinterpretted your participation here to be) and reporting them for what ever reason.

I again advise everyone to toughen up a little and stop taking what is said on an anonymous diiscusion board so personally. A playground filled with a bunch of whiny crybabies isn't really a fun playground.

Hey I have an idea. Instead of trying to tell her what to do why don't you and your friends just not break the rules? Imagine that... personal responsibility. If you want a place where you can act as stupid as you want and not get punished get your own message board. As long as this one belongs to EHA it will be moderated to their standards, not your very low ones.

How do you know you have been banned? My other account just stopped working, so I created another one... or did I just answer my question?

I hope abnoba does comeback. I don't mind posters with a bit of passion and bite in their comments, it good to read contrary view to mine. As long as they can present a argument with decency, clarity, and if they assume they are intelligent to comment in such a way.

Please, the rules are quite vague and subjectively enforced. One post one day can be seen as perfectly acceptable, and be seen as a violation the next. They are not clearly defined and this is done on purpose. If you want to stick up for people with thin skin go for it, people like that will never have my sympathy.

The only point I am trying to make is that an exchange of ideas, which message boards are generally about, is much easier to do when people let ideas flow as opposed to attempting to silence certian parties just because they get offended. I honestly cannot recall any of abnoba's posts that I could construe as personal attacks, which is pretty much the only logical reason that she could have been banned.

Some people claim to have had their accounts just stop working, in a similar way to those who are banned, but it is generally known to be a ban when a number of other controversial posters also stop posting at the same time and their profiles are all gone.

So let me ask you a question. Do you recognize that JJackson and yourself have been attacking people throughout this thread? You have blinders on or read selectively if you don't think Abnoba was personally attacking people at times. It's not surprising, we all give a greater measure of forgiveness to people we like and see as kindred, but everyone else here is going to call BS on this one. Abnoba was not innocent of the behavior she was banned for, sorry to say. As for having a thin skin, you might want to check the mirror. Your answer to a dissenting opinion in your "mourning" thread is to tell them they shouldn't have been here to begin with.

It's really been a joke watching you turn Abnoba into this victimized martyr and trying to make other people into the bad guy when she broke the rules, not the person that reported them. It's obvious that whatever was reported caused her to get banned, that should tell you what you need to know. Use your head, they banned her for something she did, not dissatisfaction of another party. Trust me, I've seen enough volatile situations here to know that people don't get banned for making others upset, they get banned for getting personal and crossing the line. Your friend wrote the check that got her butt bounced off the site.

Find one of your previous posts and then try to click through to your old profile. If the profile is still there, you were not banned (try deleting the cookies on your computer to see if that fixes the problem). If it's gone, well.....

I thought that you were warned first and then told you were being banned. On page 1 in the post from Abnoba as "Busted", she says she wasn't told anything.

I had my profile just disappear last month for about 36 hours and then it popped up again. If I tried to sign on, I was told there was no such profile. A friend told me that my profile was gone when she tried to send a PM.

I hate that she got poofed. I didn't agree with her on some topics, but that is the way of free thought and free choice. If we all agreed, life would be very boring. I have family members who do not believe as I do, but I don't judge them and they know I love them very much. Sometimes when they are going through rough times, they come to me and ask me for my advice. Mostly, I just listen and let them work it out on their own. I have found that lots of times, people just want to be listened to, that is all.

Yes, I am clearly attacking whiny crybabies and those with thin skin, the type of person that cannot setlle personal disputes themselves and has to run to a thrid party to get them resolved disgust me, I make no attempt to hide my contempt of that type of behavior, but because I am attacking that behavior and their ideas and views does not mean that I am making a personal attack. You may chose to view it differently, but all too often attacks on ideas and personal theories are taken to be attacks on a person.

I simply used her presence in the thread as an example of how she was not innocent in encouraging the behavior that she reported abnoba for, she pushed abnoba and turned what should have been just a disagreement on a view into a personal back and forth between them.

Many people that have been banned haven't recieved warnings, or recieved warnings about behavior that was totally irrelavent to the ban causing offense even though the behavior cited in the warning was not repeated.
