You don't need a permit to maintain a dwelling.

And replacing a "broken" window is maintenance.
I see! So next window, I should take a sledgehammer to it before replacing?

Venting? I'm here!

I bought a new smartphone a week and a half ago--on SuperBowl Sunday. I've had blackberries for years but this time I switched to an android after talking to many people, including the salesman. Since then, I am completely unable to set up my work email to connect to this phone. Of course, I was always able to set up multiple email accounts on every Blackberry I ever had in just about 5 minutes. What makes it worse is that it's not just me! My IT support guy at work (who is like a wizard with this stuff) can't set it up. Multiple reps in the store can't do it. The tech support rep for the manufacturer of the phone can't do it. The carrier's IT support can't do it. And nobody knows why!!!! All I want is a smart phone that's smart enough to send and receive my email!!!!
Apparently you are going to have to find a new job, that doesn't require email?

See, now all I want is an unsmart phone that I can use to make and receive phone calls!! Oh, and the very occasional text message.

For what it's worth, I had yet another hour+ conversation with a rep from the big company, about my bill situation. They decided to issue me a $23 refund, and only require me to make an extra $12 payment--this month. It seems to me they could have taken the $12 payment out of the $23 refund, but whatever.

Supposedly this fixes everything for this month, but it will be May before they can actually get things all sorted out so that I'm back to one bill due on the same day every month. So...

I did not meet his extortion demand.
Somehow B&S showed up at my house.

I think these 2 events are linked.
