Dear Drug Addicted Woman at the Laundromat,

No, I do not believe that you had "the wrong dryer" when you were rummaging through my clothes.

Thank you so much for the icky feeling I get every time I see my hot pink girl shorts sitting on top of my dresser. I think they will burn long and hard in the fireplace, because they will never touch my skin again.

I have to ask... What did you think was in that dryer that could fit your skinny frame? I'm a good 100 pounds heavier than you, so the only thing I can imagine you would even attempt to do is wear those now tarnished undies as a shirt or funky vest.

Did you touch anything else? Please, don't tell me, because I would have to burn that item of clothing as well if you did.

Signed,

The lady who noticed you had use of only one dryer on the top row while the one you were going through was on the bottom

PS - I must also thank you for ruining my great weekend of pay it forward moments.
PPS - I just discovered that you actually took a pair or two of my underwear. Enjoy your new vest.

Dear Santa,

Thanks for not bringing me a Millennium Falcon when I was 7. I had to wait until like ... at least a couple years later. You totally suck.

Get bent fatso!

Insertscreenname

P.S. I totally farted on you when I sat on your lap at the mall the next year, btw.

Dear Government Agency I feel forced to deal with;

You suck! Not only does your process suck, but the people who work for you do as well. I've been told countless times that my information has been "lost" and I must resubmit this information. Do you really think I enjoy keeping your paperwork current? Do you think I appreciate sitting in a room full of smelly, uncivilized people who don't understand the words work or job, for hours, just to turn in pieces of paper I've already given to you?

But, that isn't the only issue I have with you. The piece of paper that was sent to me a couple weeks ago. What were you thinking!? Not only did it have the name of someone else! But it also contained their birth date, Social Security Number, address and other information that should never be so freely handed over to someone who does not know them. You can "reassure" me all you want that my information wasn't "accidentally" sent out to someone else, as this bit was, but I just DON'T BUY IT!

I will be a thorn in your side for a long time to come. I will not stop until I have a competent person to work with on your side of the desk. Don't give me excuses of how many people you have to work with. You chose your job, not me. If you can't handle the work, find something else to do. The people you work with should not suffer because you can't do your job properly!

Signed,

Someone who knows she could do your job better than you do (but you have a stupid hiring freeze in place)

PS - Ever hear of a tickler file? How about a note pad? Pen? Those are all very helpful when working in an office.

I might agree, except it IS a government agency and they don't work "for" anyone. They actually seem to make things harder overall.

I had to pay three times and involve my congressman for one piece of paperwork a few years ago. I'd paid by check, but I've learned that canceled checks are always trumped by a government clerk's lack of documentation skills. It was frustrating.

Dear Sofia Vergara,

I agree that you're one hot babe, with an exotic accent that makes all the guys drool. But, do you really have to be EVERYWHERE these days? Television shows, movies, magazine covers, makeup ads, your own clothing line at KMart... Enough is enough!

Sincerely,
Someone who is sick of seeing your boobs everywhere
